We Are Called to a Glorious Hope for the Future

“...For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. ere is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is overall and in all and living
through all.”
— Ephesians 4:4-6

Think it through

  1. Have you felt discouraged or hopeful about your future?
  2. What adjective is used to describe our hope in today’s verses?
  3. Is there room for denominational exclusivity in heaven?
  4. Is God distant, or present and active in your life?

Father God, I thank you for calling us all to one glorious hope that is available to all because you are the Father of all. Unite us in faith and hope. I praise you that you are not asleep or distant. You are living and active in my life and this world. My hope is in you. Please live in me and through me today. Help me to remember all I am called to. You have called me and I am yours. Amen.
